COORDINATION TECHNIQUE WORKSHOPS
LED BY GRZEGORZ BRAL
Intensive workshops with Grzegorz Bral, London School of Performing Arts Practices director and "Song of the Goat" theatre director, will consist a series of "Coordination" excercises. Each workshop will be based on the same core principles, however they will vary according to the level and experience of each group.
The "Coordination" technique is based on the understanding that all of our acting tools, such as voice, gesture, rhythm, imagination and energy, are interconnected. We will begin with simple physical exercises, and gradually move to voice, to rhythm, and text, and energy exercises. We will gradually feel and recognize how one aspect of our acting craft informs and strenghtens other aspects. Once we gain the true sensation of interconectedness, our Magnetism, Charisma, and Presence on the stage unfolds and grows.
We will experience our body, and voice in an organic, and cohesive way. Actors often describe this experience as a feeling of being centered again and truly rooted. Professional growth is strengthened by our personal experience of body, voice, and energy.
